Sally Shaughnessy officially joined the WATD News Team in 2002, after graduating from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (North Adams) with a degree in English and Broadcasting. But she actually became a part of the WATD family while doing a stint as a high school intern, on loan from Silver Lake High School in Kingston.

Sally is a WATD utility player; she has been part of the Sales Team, a News Team stringer, and is now resting comfortably in the weekend anchor seat.

When she’s not busy bantering with Captain Lou and Larry Nelson on Sundays, Sally lives in the city and enjoys traveling and attending live music events.
