Carver: Teen injured in crash caused by wintry road conditions

Icy roads are being blamed for a motor vehicle crash that inured a 17-year-old Carver woman Thursday morning at around 7:30 a.m. in Carver.

Police say Kendall Arrigal was taken to the hospital with facial injuries after she lost control of her 2005 Dodge Caravan while driving west on Center Street. The car slammed into a utility pole, cracking and moving it substantially. Arrigal’s Caravan sustained severe front-end damage and the airbags were deployed. The utility pole had to be replaced.

Before police arrived on scene, the young woman was cared for by Carver firefighter Michael Harriman. Arrigal was wearing her seat belt.
