Two juveniles have been arrested for breaking into a number of cars on Hawthorne Street and Woodbine Avenue in Hanson.Police say a man looking out his window, to check to see how much snow had fallen, just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning saw two teens in his truck, rummaging through his belongings.
Hanson Police Sgt. Joseph Yakavonis said officers arrived and followed footprints the two teens left in the snow, and arrested them as they walked down the street.
The teens were released into their parents’ custody. Their names are not being released because they are minors, but they are facing charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony.
At least three cars were broken into, according to neighbors. Police say the doors of the cars were not locked.
