Plymouth: Historic site honored by “Yankee” magazine

Plimoth Plantation has been named “Best New England History Museum” in the “Yankee Magazine 2011 Best of New England Readers Choice” awards.

The winners were chosen by the magazine in a variety of categories including favorite weekend and vacation getaways, favorite cultural attractions, and favorite destinations for iconic New England food.

“Yankee” magazine has a paid circulation of more than 350,000 copies and a total audience of nearly 2 million readers.
