Rockland: Car crashes into store front

A vacant storefront at 327 Union Street in downtown Rockland suffered extensive damage Thursday afternoon after a driver crashed into the front of the building.

The store, which is next to a new Mexican restaurant, is reportedly a former music store. There were no reports of serious injuries.

The Rockland Police and Fire Departments, as well as the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department and the Rockland Building inspector were on scene shortly after the crash to evaluate the situation.
