Brockton: Man faces charges in deadly crash

A young Brockton man is facing several charges including motor vehicle homicide in a horrifying crash that killed a local woman.

Police say the car driven by 21-year-old Arcelino Silva slammed into three parked cars on Provost St.  in Brockton just after midnight Saturday.

A cousin identifies the victim as Danitra Chin, a 21-year-old mother of three.

Two other people were taken to a hospital.

Silva, who was not hurt, is also charged with reckless driving, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
