It was a tight selectmen’s race in Carver on Saturday, so tight, there’s going to be a recount.

Jack Franey picked up just one vote more than William Sinclair, 857 to 856.

Incumbent selectman Mike O’Donnell retains his seat.

Debbera Silva won the race for Water Commissioner, beating out Buzz Artiano and Roderick Forrester.

Carver residents voted “no” on the school building project’s non-binding referendum question which takes the district out of the capital pipeline for money from the Massachusetts School Building Authority.

Here are the official race results, pre-recount:

SELECTMEN

Mike O’Donnell–1,176

Jack Franey–857

Will Sinclair–856

WATER COMMISSION

Debbera Silva–645

Roderick Forrester–421

Buzz Artiano–590

NON-BINDING REFERENDUM

YES–881

NO–911
