East Bridgewater residents elected a new selectman on Saturday.
Brian Connors garnered 1,107 votes, topping incumbent Theresa McNulty’s 482 votes.
Write-in candidate William Dowling received 84 votes.
Connors said he wants to restore people’s trust in town government by making it more transparent.
The only other contested race was for a five-year seat on the Housing Authority.
Incumbent Larry Davidson was re-elected with 881 votes, beating challenger Kenneth Andrea, who got 516.
