Plymouth: One dead, one injured, in Manomet

Police continue to look into what caused the death of one person, and left another with serious injuries, at a home in the Manomet section of Plymouth.

Police would not immediately comment on the incident Tuesday, but Plymouth Police and the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office are expected to issue a statement later in the day.

The incident developed around 10 p.m. Monday and authorities remained on scene overnight, gathering evidence from inside the home. Officers and EMT’s were called to Farmhurst Road in the area of Rocky Hill Road. One woman was reportedly found dead. A man was reportedly taken to the hospital.

Authorities are not confirming, denying, or releaing any details, motives or identities. Police, as of 7 a.m., also would not confirm an address.

Other media outlets have reported a case of domestic violence, and some have reported a case of possible murder–suicide.
