Voters at Scituate Town Meeting Monday night will be asked to approve a $2.2 million override to fund teacher salaries, a variety of school programs, seawalls and roads.
If the override passes, it will then have to be voted on at the Annual Election on May 7th. The override would add about $525 to the average property tax bill.
Also on the warrant is an article for $3.1 million in Community Preservation funds, and another that would approve leasing some town-owned land on Tilden Road to build a wireless communication center.
There are four articles on the Special Town Meeting warrant and 30 articles on the Annual Town Meeting warrant.
Town meeting convenes at 7:00 p.m. at the Scituate High School Gymnasium.
