Whitman: Authorities following leads in armed robbery at Winter Street home

Whitman police say they are close to making an arrest in an armed robbery Monday night.

Police received a report just before 9:30 p.m. Monday at 253 Winter Street of three males in a red Saturn who allegedly held a handgun to a victim’s head, stole an iPad and cash, and then fled.

Police are expected to release more details later in the day Tuesday.
