Cohasset: One incumbent selectman wins reelection, another does not

The Cohasset Town Election results are in.

Diane Kennedy and Fred Koed each won seats on the Board of Selectmen, Kennedy with with 1,062 votes and Fred Koed with 813 votes.

Koed won reelection.

Incumbent Selectman Karen Quigley lost her bid for reelection, with 714 votes.

Mary Snow got 514.

A surprise of the election was the write-in for the one-year term on the Water Commission.

Leonora Jenkins won that seat with just 13 votes.

The only other write-in was for the three-year term on the Planning Board.

William Hannon won that seat with 15-votes.

All other seats were uncontested.

Voter turnout was about 32 percent.
