Hanson voters reelected an incumbent and elected a write-in candidate in the selectmen’s race on Saturday.
The top two vote getters were Jim Egan with 597 and write-in Richard Flynn with 557.
Candidate Thomas Chambers was defeated.
Robert O’Brien won the race for a seat on the Whitman-Hanson Regional School Committee with 680 votes, defeating Laura FitzGerald-Kemmet, who received 469 votes.
Both Hanson ballot questions failed on Saturday.
Question 1 called for a debt exclusion to make repairs to the roof of the Indian Head School, while Question 2 called for a Proposition 2 ½ override.
