A young Brockton man is due in court Monday, following a weekend murder in the city.
Police were called to the intersection of Main St. and Court St. approximately 1:40 Saturday afternoon.
They found the victim, 51-year-old Jennifer Rodrigues-Teixeira of Brockton, lying on the sidewalk.
She had been shot in the back and was later pronounced dead at Brockton Hospital.
The Plymouth D-A’S office says a gun allegedly fired by 19-year-old Frank Webb was found at the scene.
He’ll go before a judge in Brockton District Court.
No word on a motive.
