An East Bridgewater woman who worked as a home health aide has pleaded guilty to stealing from her elderly clients.
Debra J. Blair was sentenced Tuesday in Brockton District Court to a year in jail, followed by 18 months of probation. The 29-year-old Blair is already serving an eight-month sentence in state prison for stealing from a client in Middleborough.
Police say Blair and her husband, who is also facing charges, stole jewelry and other items from clients in East Bridgewater and Abington and sold them at pawn shops for cash.
The thefts included $5,000 in jewelry and medals earned in the Korean War by 79-year-old Joseph Guarino. Guarino died in February.
