Norwell Police are continuing their investigation into a robbery at The South Shore Savings Bank on Washington Street that was reported just before 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
A bank employee called police to report the robbery.
Police say the suspect entered the bank and showed the teller a note.
The note indicated that he had a gun, but no weapon was shown.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot heading north on Washington Street.
The suspect is described as a white male approximately 25-30 years old, 6 feet tall, with brown hair, wearing a long sleeve dark colored shirt, blue jeans and a black baseball hat.
