Several school districts south of Boston are getting state grants to make their schools greener.
The money will help replace old windows, roofs, and boilers.
Brockton will get a big chunk of the money, more than one-third of the $75 million allocated statewide.
It will be used make repairs to the high school, three middle schools, and four elementary schools.
Among the other districts south of Boston receiving grants are Abington, Plymouth, Weymouth, and the Whitman-Hanson Regional system.
