Abington: Police search for suspects in gas station robbery

Abington police are searching for two people who robbed a gas station at gunpoint.

The suspects, described as heavy-set black men, approached the Borderland Service Station on North Quincy St. around 9 p.m.Thursday night.

Authorities say one of the men ran inside the station and told the clerk to hand over money, while the other stayed outside, threatening to shoot him.

The clerk gave the crooks an undisclosed amount of cash, and they sped off in an SUV headed toward Brockton.

Anyone with information is asked to call Abington police.

The gas station has been the target of at least two other robberies in the last 18-months.
