Cohasset: Bomb squad called, area evacuated, for military grenades

The Boston police bomb squad was called to Cohasset Friday, after resident brought two “Vietnam Era” grenades to the Cohasset police station.

Police chief Mark Deluca said police left the grenades in the car in the parking lot.The bomb squad was the scene to remove the hand grenades from the car.

An evacuation of several nearby homes was also ordered as a precaution.
