It was a solemn Sunday in Marshfield, as those who knew 23-year-old Steven “Zac” Woods paid their respects.
A memorial visitation was held from 2-6 p.m. at MacDonald Funeral Home.
Woods’ funeral was held at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Green Harbor.
Woods went missing July 16th, when the boat operated by his friend, 22-year-old Justin McDonald, struck some rocks and pitched them overboard.
McDonald, who’s charged with being drunk at the time, was rescued by a kayaker, but Woods went missing for two-weeks.
His body was found off Brant Rock by a local diver July 30th.
The Steven Zachary Woods Scholarship Fund has been established in his memory.
Donations may be sent care of Marshfield High School, 167 Forest Street.
