A new organization targeting what it calls Rockland’s hidden drug epidemic is planning a vigil Wednesday night.
Rockland Cares was formed a month ago by a couple of School Committee members who say the group includes the Police and Fire departments.
A member of the Board of Selectmen as well as parents and recovering addicts are also part of the organization.
The vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday in front of the Rockland Public Library.
