Whitman: Shots ring out at pool party on Temple Street

A pool party in Whitman takes a scary turn after some ‘crashers’ show up at the home on Temple Street.

As police were responding to the scene after 1 o’clock Sunday morning, they got additional calls about a fight spilling out into the street, then more calls about ‘shots fired.’

Chief Christine May-Stafford says luckily no one was hurt.

The suspects fled in a silver B-M-W. However, police have not made any arrests.

Police are analyzing shell casings recovered from the scene.
