Bruins: Islanders in Boston for preseason hockey tonight

Zdeno Chara and Tim Thomas are among the players scheduled to dress for tonight’s home preseason opener for the Stanley Cup-champion Bruins against the New York Islanders. David Krejci and Milan Lucic are also on the roster scheduled to play tonight, making their preseason debuts.

The game tonight at the TD Garden begins at 7:00 p.m.
