Residents attending Hingham’s Special Town Meeting Monday night will decide whether to greenlight close to $60 million to build a new middle school.
The state would reportedly pick up more than 40 percent of the cost.
Also on the agenda is a request to consider options for renovating the middle school rather than building a new one.
In addition, Hingham voters will decide if close to $1 million should be spent to renovate playing fields at the high school.
Special Town Meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at Hingham High School.
