An elderly woman suffered serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon in Abington.
The crash involved a sedan at the intersection of Hancock Street and Lincoln Street. Police say the car hit a tree.
The victim, a 71 year woman, was med-flighted to Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston.
Fire captain Jack Glynn says Holbrook sent an ambulance to the scene of the crash.
