Boston: South Shore woman arraigned in shooting outside club

A Brockton woman arrested with a loaded gun near the scene of a quadruple shooting in Boston’s theater district has been arraigned.

21-year-old Mikayla Alford was arrested just after the shootings outside the Venue nightclub overnight last Friday.

Police had been on the lookout for her car, and spotted her alone inside around the corner.

Hidden in the car was a Glock with several rounds of ammunition.

Alford went before a judge on weapons charges and was ordered held on $25,000 and told to stay way from downtown Boston while the case was open.

She will be back in Boston Municipal Court next month.

All of the victims are expected to recover.
