Brockton: Jury finds accused killer guilty of 2007 murder

After a week long trial and after hearing testimony from several witnesses, a jury has convicted a man of 1st degree murder in the 2007 shooting death of 18-year-old John Lima. Lima was found shot to death in a car in Brockton,  in May 2007. Jurors also found Paulo Tavares guilty of armed assault with intent to murder, in the shooting of Lima’s friend, Jerell Archer. Archer did survive and was called on during the trial, to testify. WATD’s Steven Dodrill has the details.
