A Middleboro man will be in court Monday, answering to charges he stabbed a local man to death.
The Plymouth D.A.’s office has charged 26-year-old Nicholas Pilalas with second-degree murder.
The death happened shortly after midnight Sunday.
Witnesses say Pilalas was driving on Plympton Street when he got into an argument with a group of people that escalated into a fistfight.
Pilalas apparently pulled a knife and stabbed 20-year-old Dalton Goulart, who was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.
Pilalas will appear in Wareham District Court.
