Whitman: Woman arrested for allegedly stabbing boyfriend

A Whitman woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend during a domestic disturbance early Friday morning.

Whitman Police responded to 29 Whitman Avenue at around 12:23 a.m. Friday for a report of a man with a stab wound. They found a 28-year-old man with a non-life threatening cut on his left hand.

Police arrested his girlfriend, 23-year-old Sheryl Clancy, who lives with the victim at that address. The victim was treated at the scene and taken to Brockton Hospital.

Clancy faces charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, domestic assault and battery, and breaking and entering in nighttime–a felony charge.
