Police are investigating, after a third person was shot in a brazen attack in downtown Brockton in less than two weeks.
A woman was shot in the chest near North Main and Farrington St. around 4 p.m. Saturday.
The victim is hospitalized in unknown condition, and police are reportedly looking for a rented 2010 Dodge Avenger with Rhode Island plates in connection to the shooting.
On Christmas Day, a man was shot after he argued with two other men on the sidewalk on Legion Parkway in Brockton.
Two days before that, a local man was shot in the back.
State police are also investigating a report of gunshots fired on Oakdale St. Saturday morning.
No one was injured.
