A Hanson man was med-flighted to Boston Thursday after injuring himself climbing over a fence.
Hanson Fire Chief Jerome Thompson says that they got a call around 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, emergency workers found a 32-year-old man with possible cervical spine injury and had him med-flighted to a Boston hospital.
Chief Thompson says that at this time they believe the man had been climbing over a fence to retrieve a ball he had lost while playing catch with a dog.
The man’s injuries are considered serious but not life-threatening.
