Italy: Braintree family survives cruise ship wreck

A Braintree family of five was among the more than 4,000  people aboard the cruise ship that remains partially-submerged after running aground off the Tuscan coast of Italy last Friday.

Cielto Warrick, his wife and three children boarded the ship in Barcelona, where the cruise began.

The kids, 18-year-old Amanda, 20-year-old Brandon and 22-year-old Adrean, described panic and confusion as people scrambled to get on life-boats.

The Warricks were eventually taken by bus to the embassy in Rome, where they were awaiting new passports before flying back to Barcelona.
