Marshfield: Police arrest suspects in string of South Shore burglaries

Marshfield police have nabbed four suspects in what’s believed to be more than sixty house breaks on the South Shore.

Five of them happened in Marshfield, including one where a gun was stolen.

The suspects, accused in similar break-ins in Norwell, Scituate, Hanover, Hingham and Cohasset, were arrested following a surveillance operation.

Police say the two men and two women stole mainly jewelry and electronics.

They were caught red-handed with loot stolen from a home on School St. in Marshfield.
