Abington: Police say speeder is a thief

It looks like an Abington man had good reason to be speeding.

Police stopped Philip Maslanka on Chestnut St. and discovered he had a suspended license.

A subsequent search revealed what officers say was several hundred dollars’ worth of stolen tools and video game equipment.

Maslanka reportedly admitted taking the items from Target and Sears stores in Hanover.
