Cohasset: Town Manager’s days appear numbered

Cohasset selectmen have suspended Town Manager Michael Coughlin with pay, and say they plan to fire him.

At Coughlin’s request a public hearing has been set for March 13th before a final vote on his dismissal.

Following a quick meeting before a packed audience last week, Cohasset selectmen said they and Coughlin do not share the same views on how important matters should be communicated and handled.

Coughlin, whose aggressive managerial style has won him both praise and criticism, has been on the job since last August.
