Police say a two-car crash in Hingham should serve as reminder to buckle up.
In one car were three teenage girls from Weymouth, and in the other, a Scituate father and his two kids.
The accident happened on Whiting Street/Rte. 53 at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday.
The father, 43-year-old Robert Song, was driving a Kia Sorrento making a left turn out of the Chili’s parking lot when it hit a Nissan XTerra, causing it to roll over.
In the Nissan were 18-year-old Jenna Sartucci, and two 17-year-old passengers.
Song was cited for failing to yield the right of way.
The teens were checked out at a hospital as a precaution.
Hingham police say all six people escaped harm because they were properly secured in the vehicles.
