Authorities are investigating a horrific accident in Marshfield.
A fire department spokesperson told WATD it happened at 5:20 p.m. Saturday on Rte. 139-Plain St. near the Dunkin’ Donuts.
An SUV with a father and son in it apparently crossed the center line, hitting a car in which another father and son were riding, head-on at high speed.
One person had to be freed with the Jaws of Life, and all four victims were taken to South Shore Hospital in unknown condition.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
