Quincy: Police asking public’s help in nabbing bank robber

Quincy police are looking for a suspect in a brazen bank heist.

Authorities say a man entered the Bridgewater Credit Union in Wollaston at noon on Saturday, and passed a note saying he had a gun, though no weapon was shown.

The robber was given money and a dye pack, which exploded not far from the bank.

The suspect was last seen heading toward the Wollaston MBTA station.

Anyone with information is asked to call Quincy police at (617) 745-5764.
