Authorities are investigating the cause of an accident that killed a Plymouth man on Cape Cod.
Gary Ayre was driving a 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo along Rte. 6 in Harwich late Friday afternoon, when he lost control and struck a bridge abutment.
He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
