Halifax: Resident injured in reported home invasion

A resident was injured during a reported house break-in by two intruders Thursday in Halifax.

Halifax police say that they got a report of a home invasion at around 11:48 a.m. Thursday at 284 Thompson Street (Route 105). The homeowner reported being pushed in through the back door and made to sit while the suspects went through the house.

The suspects are simply described as two men, who left the scene in a silver sedan heading south toward Middleboro. There is no list of the items taken at this time.

The victim had a minor injury, not requiring medical attention. The incident in under investigation by the Halifax Police and Plymouth County Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
