A story about two missing kids has a happy ending.
A two-year-old girl and a three-year-old boy are back with their parents after police found them wandering along Curtis St. in Scituate around 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
It seems the boy, unbeknownst to his parents, had learned how to unlock doors.
Police went door-to-door in the neighborhood looking for the parents and sent out a reverse 911 call.
The children were found unharmed about 200 yards from their home.
The case remains under investigation, but police say it does not appear to be a case of neglect.
