W. Bridgewater: Voters to decide on business tax break

A proposal to grant a temporary tax break to a Plymouth firm planning to relocate to West Bridgewater will come before voters at a Special Town Meeting Monday night.

The article asked for approval of the tax-increment financing agreement selectmen negotiated with Cheer Pack North America.

The company, which makes food and beverage packaging, plans to move to the industrial park on United Dr. in West Bridgewater.

The meeting will also take up two appropriations to fund approximately $50,000 in renovations to the public library building.

The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. Monday in the high school auditorium.
