West Bridgewater holds a Special Town Meeting on Monday night to vote on requests for library repairs and for a tax incentive proposal for a new business.
The library needs a new heating system and roof repairs.
Voters will also vote on a TIF – Tax Increment Financing – agreement between the town and a company called Cheer Pack North America.
TIF agreements are incentives for businesses to come to a community where both the town and the business agree on a property tax exemption based on what value the business brings to the town.
Cheer Pack, which makes containers for drinks and food products, plans to move 35 jobs from Plymouth and add more than 75 new jobs over the next few years
West Bridgewater Special Town Meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the middle-high school.
