Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that gave some senior citizens in Braintree a rude awakening Sunday morning.
The blaze broke out around 2:30 a.m. at the Grove Manor Estates complex and grew to four alarms.
Fire Lt. Bruce King told WATD the flames originated on the exterior of one wing of the building, spreading along the outside and extending into the building.
Approximately 20 to 30 residents were displaced.
King said some were moved to another area of the building, others were taken to another location.
No one was hurt.
