Hingham: Town Meeting gets underway on Monday night

Hingham voters will address a 62 article warrant when Town Meeting gets underway Monday.

In addition to town budgets, voters will also consider if the town should conduct a feasibility study to possibly acquire the corporate property and assets of Aquarion Water Company, the town’s current supplier of water.

There are also a number of Community Preservation Act articles, including one to implement a historical collection master plan for the town.

Another article would change the Treasurer/Collector position from elected to appointed.

Hingham Town Meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. at the high school.
