Rockland: Suspicious device prompts investigation

Authorities are investigating after a suspicious device was found in Rockland.

A fire department spokesman told WATD a plastic bottle that may have contained an explosive was discovered at 11:30 Saturday morning.

The object was on the sidewalk near a home on Millbrook Dr.

The spokesman said the State Police bomb squad was called in, and the scene was cleared two hours later.
