South Shore: Two school districts to share $50k grant

The Hanover and Norwell public school districts will share a $50,000 grant from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for student resources and teacher training.

Funds will help purchase math software and other materials for elementary and middle school-age children and bring professional development opportunities for teachers.

The towns opted to apply for the money together because of similar demographics.
