Projectiles, possibly from a pellet gun, are believed to be the cause of a motor vehicle accident in Carver Tuesday night.
Just before 8:00 p.m., Carver Police were dispatched to the area of Wareham Street and David Road. Police say the vehicle involved in the incident went off the road and hit a tree after the driver’s side window was shot out.
The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 20’s, was standing next to his vehicle and told police his window had been shot out, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.
Two projectiles were removed from the door of the vehicle by the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
A search of the area was conducted by Carver police officers, who were assisted by K-9’s from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department and Wareham Police, but no suspects were located.
