Breaking News: Authorities searching for Duxbury home invasion suspect who allegedly fired shots at officers

Authorities are searching for a man who allegedly fired shots at police while they were searching for a suspect of an alleged armed home invasion that happened earlier in the night in Duxbury.

Duxbury Police K9, as well as Duxbury Police Officers, had been searching for a suspect after an alleged home invasion in the area of Duxborough Trail.

Authorities will be using Camp Wing as a staging area, and had requested a state police helicopter but it was unavailable due to heavy fog.

Authorities say suspect is armed and dangerous and police are ordering officers to use extreme caution.
