Marshfield: Town comes out in force to honor veterans

The weather was perfect and the crowds enthusiastic as Marshfield residents gathered in Veterans Park to celebrate Memorial Day. The parade stretched down Ocean Street from the center of town to the park, where nearly a thousand people attended the ceremonies. Hundreds more lined Ocean Street to cheer the marchers: policemen, firemen, Boy and Girl Scouts, the high school Marching Band, and, of course, veterans.
